Misunderstood

LIFE LESSONS by Matt, Volume 1

Actual situation: Johnny dropped his book on Sally's toe.

Situation blown out of proportion: Johnny threw his freakin' huge hardback book on Sally's toe and sliced it in half.

Let us all see things in a logical, reasonable manner and the world would be a better place. So many people these days freak out over small, simple things and after thinking about it for a while after the fact, they realize that it really wasn't anything so huge.

I learned way back in my days at Chester Middle School a great way to determine if a situation is serious by asking myself "Will this matter in 3 days?" That has always been a good question, but most of the time I don't ask myself that until a situation has already occured. That means I'm a hypocrite, that's right! But by writing this blog, I'm sure I am helping myself as well -- this is a means to vent.

QUOTES of the day:
"Don't sweat the small stuff"

"The small things are things we seem to make the most noise over"

"Why toil yourself with small issues when there are bigger issues at hand?"
