Summer creeping to an end
Well here it is July 26, about a month before classes start at Longwood at which point I will officially start my senior year of college. How freakin' crazy is that? My 4th year at Longwood! By this time next year I will be moving on the the next phase of life, which is starting a career. Well first, of course, I'll have to find a job, which should be sweet (sarcasm).
But until I have to deal with the "real" world, in no way am I going to fall short of having fun. I'll be at Sunchase apartments with my bro and two of the coolest friends I could have (2 out of two handfulls). AND I have signed up for some pretty sweet classes that I will definitely enjoy, especially since a course on Vietnam has finally been offered.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves here. I have about 3 weeks left of work, which consists of about 120 hours or so. At my pay/hour, I'm certainly not complaining whatsoever. I'll need the money for rent and groceries and bills of all sorts. Despite having to pay for a lot of stuff, I believe I'll have so much fun this year w/ my roomies. Plus paying bills is apart of life, so bring it on -- gotta learn some day right?
Life is great despite the recent situation I have gone through, which I'm sure you are familiar with (if you know me). Surrounding myself with my friends and family has definitely helped, that and the fact I simply realized nothing in life is gauranteed so you have no choice but to enjoy it. Moving on is tough, and moving along from this situation is no exception. It has been the hardest thing I've had to do so far in life's journey, but I'm thankful for it in a way because it has shown me how life can be and it has shown me that whatever happens you must still move on because time will stop for you or anyone else.
So, here's to life . . . . . *CLINK* (chugged the remainder of my orange soda)
