Sunchase Apartments

FINALLY! After going through the whole crazy acceptance process, Longwood is "letting" me (upcoming senior who deserves to) live off campus for the 2005/2006 school year. There are a few apartment complexes around town to choose from and we (me, my bro, fernando, patrick) chose "only the best."

As of August 11, 2005, we will officially be free from the grip of Longwood residential authority, which we will celebrate in our apartment at Sunchase. We each get our own room and our own bathroom and we will be sharing a den, kitchen, and utility room --- it's going to be "so pimp" in the words of Fernando.

Subconsciously I (and i know everyone else has too) have compiled a list of benefits and things I can do now without pissing off my RA or other prudish hall mates:

1.) Listen to my music as loud as I want
2.) Wash my clothes without having to pay $1 to wash, $1 to dry, plus however much detergent costs
3.) Play dorm ball without getting written up
4.) No fire drills at 2:00AM
5.) Finally we won't have to fight over who gets top or bottom bunk
6.) Enjoy the comfort of my OWN bathroom
7.) Have parties for no reason at all..... just BYOM (bring your own milk)
8.) Won't have to wait for Hall Council to raise enough money for a stove. . .I'll have one

Here's to the 2005-2006 school year! No more campus living bull for me to deal with. And as the founding fathers of the frarority HNPi (eta nu pi -joke-), we will be able to finally have get-togethers in which we share milk and cookies and sing camp fire songs. . . . . . .
